We link ecology and statistics to understand the behaviour, movement, health, and space use of animals. Our complex ecological questions and datasets drive the development of advanced statistical methods. We are devoted to use our knowledge and skills to develop concrete conservation solutions for species at risk. While we generally focus on marine animals living in temperate and polar ecosystems, we develop statistical tools that are applicable to a broad range of species, including humans, and are used in fields far beyond ecology.
